Popeye in the cinema
The Sony Pictures Animation Studio has already started
work on a project to take " Popeye the sailor" to the big screen. He is one of the most famous cartoon characters of all time and has featured in comics and TV series.
There is no date yet for the release of the film but what is sure is that it will be in 3D.
A cinema production of Popeye was made in 1980 with
Robin William as the popular "king of spinach".
