Plans for a visit

Hi, Rozio
I'm just writing to check that every thing's OK for your visit.
I think you'll like Barcelona. On Friday morning, we're doing a bus tour with my parents because they really want to show you the city. We'll be free in the afternoon, so we'll probably meet some friends, and we could either walk around the town or go to a museum. It's up to you. I expect we'll end up in one of the cafés in the shopping centre.
On Saturday , We could get a bus or train somewhere. There are some typical Catalan villages around here, like Mataró and Terrassa. There isn't much to do in them, but they're very pretty places, I'll get some photos and you can have a look.
We're going to meet you at the railway station tomorrow, so can you remind me what time your train gets in?
Looking forward to seeing you.

My description

Hy my name is Amadeu Fabra, I'm seventeen years old and this is my autodescription. I believe I am tall and skinny. I have long thin and black hair, small dark brown eyes, normal nose, a small mouse, and finally my ears are covered with my hair. I have no beard. I have enough freckles all over his body. Short neck, and back big and strong. Hands and feet are quite large, and dirty fingernails. My dress is simple: jeans, a t-shirt or sweatshirt, and sneakers. I don't like to wear tracksuits. Sometimes I wear glasses and a buff.
change something in a shop

Amadeu: Hello. Are you OK there?
Eloi: Yes, hi. I was given these jeans as a present but they're too small. Is it OK if I change them?
Amadeu: That should be OK. Have you got the receipt?
Eloi: Yes, here you are.
Amadeu: OK. Well actually, we've sold out of those jeans, I'm afraid. You can choose something else if you like.
Eloi: Oh, right. Can I try these things on?
Amadeu: Yes, sure. The changing rooms are over there.
...
Eloi: What do you think of this coat? it isn't too long, is it?
Amadeu: No, I don't think so. it's really funky.
Eloi: OK. I'll take it then. Thanks.

discuss a questionnaire

Amadeu: Hey, Eloi. We're doing a questionnaire about identity. Do you want to have a look?
Eloi: Yeah, go on then. Ask me something.
Amadeu: OK, I will ask you the interesting ones. Do you express yourself more through your hairstyle or your clothes?
Eloi: Er, through my clothes.
Amadeu: Yes, me too. Right, do you usually know what music someone likes from the clothes they wear?
Eloi: Oh, that's a difficult one. Not always, no.
Amadeu: No, me neither. OK. How about this one - do you prefer to hang out with a group of friends, or alone?
Eloi: I prefer a group.
Amadeu: Oh, I don't. I prefer to relax on my own.
Eloi: We're a bit different then.
Amadeu: It looks like it, yes.

Ask for and give information

Hello, there. Can I help you?
Yes, I'm staying in Somerset with a friend next week and we were wondering if there's anything to see around there. Have you got any information?
Yes, there are day trips to the Cheddar caves if you're interested. I'll get you a leaflet.
That sounds good. What time do the trips leave?
Oh, they're fairly regular - they go every day except Monday at nine and eleven.
OK. And how much is the trip? We've got student cards.
Let's see. Well, in that case it's 8 pounds per person. The full price is 12 pounds.
That's fine. We'll go on Thursday, then. Do we need to book it?
I'll book it for you if you like. Can I take your names?
